Q.What is the system requirements to run ASPMaker?

Q.I use Microsoft Access, I cannot add/copy/edit/delete/update records.
A. If you try to write to an Access database, the anonymous Web server user must have write permission to the folder that contains the .mdb file. See Configuring Permissions.

Q.Operation must use an updateable query
A. If you try to write to an Access database, the anonymous Web server user must have write permission to the folder that contains the .mdb file. See Configuring Permissions.

Q.Add/Edit/Delete/Update pages are not generated
A. Make sure you have primary key for the table. If you add primary keys after creating your project, click Tools->Synchronize to update your project, then go to Table Setup page, re-enable Add/Copy/Edit/Delete/Update for the table and generate scripts again.

Q.Either BOF or EOF is True, or the current record has been deleted.

Q.I use Windows Vista (or newer), I cannot register with the provided license key.
A. In Windows Vista (or newer), User Account Control (UAC) is enabled by default, members of the administrators group do NOT have full administrator privileges.

When you install (by double-clicking the installer or right-clicking the installer and choose Run as administrator), an User Account Control prompt may be displayed and ask you if you allow the program to make changes to your computer, click Yes to let the installer run elevated.

Q.HTTP 500 - Internal server error
A. The HTTP 500 error is a generic error message that Internet Explorer passes out to you when your web site errors for one reason or another. To enable Internet Explorer to show the error, select Internet Options from the Tools menu at the top of Internet Explorer, select the Advanced tab, uncheck "Show friendly HTTP error messages" checkbox. Then run your script again to see a more useful error message.

Q.What is the difference between ASPMaker and ASP.NET Maker?
A. Feature-wise the two products are similar but they are for different technologies - Classic ASP and ASP.NET Core. Classic ASP is much easier to learn and code but it is outdated. ASP.NET Core is much more complicated to code but it is the latest technology and is much more powerful. You can google for "Classic ASP" and "ASP.NET Core" to find more info about the two technologies.
