A. To register, administrator permission is required. Right click the icon that you use to run the program, and then click Run as administrator. When you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type the administrator password, or click Continue to run the program. Then register again.

A. No, ASP.NET Maker does not support VB.

Q.Does ASP.NET Maker support C#?
A. Yes, ASP.NET Maker supports C#.

Q.Does ASP.NET Maker support ASP.NET Web Forms?
A. No. ASP.NET Maker uses ASP.NET Core 2.x MVC.

Q.Does ASP.NET Maker support ASP.NET Server Controls and Ajax Control Toolkit?
A. No. ASP.NET Maker does not use ASP.NET Web Forms.

A. No, the generated applications require .NET Framework 4.6.1 or newer.

Q.Can ASP.NET Maker scripts be editable with Visual Studio?
A. Yes, just open the .csproj file in Visual Studio 2017.

Q.How can I debug the ASP.NET Maker generated scripts?
A. Please use Visual Studio 2017 (or later) or Visual Studio Code with C# extension.

Q.Can ASP.NET Maker scripts be editable with Visual Studio Code?
A. Yes, just click [File] -> [Open Folder...] in Visual Studio Code, then select your project folder.

Q.Can I use template from previous major version with latest major version of ASP.NET Maker? Or vice versa?
A. No. The template for each major version of ASP.NET Maker will be modified to offer new features. Old templates for previous major versions cannot be used with new major version of ASP.NET Maker.

Q.What is the difference between ASPMaker and ASP.NET Maker?
A. Feature-wise the two products are similar but they are for different technologies - Classic ASP and ASP.NET Core. Classic ASP is much easier to learn and code but is out-dated, ASP.NET Core is latest technology and is relatively more complicated but it is much more powerful.
