The ASP.NET Core scripts are generated by ASP.NET Report Maker without hand-coding.
More detailed description of this demo project is provided in the tutorials of the help file.
This demo project shows you how the generated pages generally look like and illustrates some of the advanced features:
Advanced Security (User ID, Parent User ID and User Level Security)
You can view some pages without login as an anonymous user. Then login using the following accounts to see the feature works.
The menu items changes with permissions.
This is the administrator account which have full permissions.
This account has limited permissions. You can only view your own records in the "Orders" tables and you cannot view the reports.
This account has more permissions. This is parent user of a few other users. You can view your subordinate's records in the "Orders" table and you can view the reports.
You can login using the administrator account first, then logout and re-login using other accounts to see the Advanced Security works.
Detail and Summary Report
Click "Sales By Customer".
Compact Detail and Summary Report
Click "Sales By Customer (Compact)".
Crosstab Report with Chart
Click "Quarterly Sales By Product".
Drill Down Report
Click "Sales By Customer (Compact)", then click the summary values (in blue) in the report
Drill Down Chart
Click "Quarterly Sales By Product", then click the bars in the chart.
Click "Gantt 1" or "Gantt 2".
Dashboard Report and Grid Component
Click "Dashboard 1". The report shows both report and charts.
Printer Friendly and Export to Word/Excel/PDF
Go to any report and click the icons for export at the top of the page.
Click "Sales By Customer 2", select an order and then click Export -> Printer Friendly or Export to PDF
Auto-Suggest and Modal Lookup (for Extended Filter)
Click "Order Details Extended", try the "Customer ID" field in the filter panel.
Generate Report by HTTP GET/POST
Click "Sales By Customer", try the button "Generate Report URL" at the top of the page.
Dynamic Selection Lists (for Extended Filter)
Click "Cars 2", try the "Trademark" (parent) and the "Model" (child) fields in the filter panel.
Excel Style Ajax Popup Filters
Click the down arrow icon in table header in the reports
Saving Filters on Client Side by Local Storage
Do some filtering in a report, click the filter button to save the filters in your browser
Go to "Cars 2" table, click the images.
Dropdown Selection Lists (Select/Radio/Checkbox)
Go to "Cars 2" table, see the Trademark and Model fields in Extended Filter.
Option Template for Dropdown Selection Lists
Go to "Cars 2" table, see the Trademark Extended Filter.
The table for "Gantt 1" is a table from another database.

Auto Hidden Pager
Go to any report, change the page size to "All", the report becomes one page only and pagers become hidden automatically.

Go to any report which support export, see the download dialog and the exported file with exported images to Excel.
